Rainbow Hearts, Crystal Hearts, Summer.

The summer of my 9th year, the windows were full of crystals, pointed, smooth, clean, in the shapes of hearts, diamonds, octagons. Hanging on thin white string, moving in the breeze, spinning unfurled from my little hand, refracting rainbows, I could stare at these forever. So just like rose and jasmine oil, whole wheat bread, and tofu, these adornments always remind me of my sweet, hippie childhood. And then there were the rainbow stickers. So awesome. I found one today at Abstract the Day, a gorgeous photo taken by someone else out there with similar memories. Yay.
