Kitchen Inspiration (for Me)!

These images were found respectively...oh no, I cannot find the links. If you know where they came from, please let me know. Never do I intend to infringe upon anybody's copyrights.

Now that I'm older than Jesus Christ, I suppose it's time to become interested in living in a well-styled, fun, and properly organized home that includes a functional, gorgeous kitchen. The time has come, just like the poet predicted, when the child has fallen in love with the mundane. So these are a couple of pictures of kitchen storage ideas just for me. And if anybody reads this, it's for you, too. Xoxo, Ama

Always Leave Them Wanting Less. Always Leave Them Wanting Less.

Andy Warhol for Familiar Quotations
by Peter Oresick

Andy Warhol said, Always leave them wanting less.
Being born, Warhol said, is like being kidnapped.
Everyone will be famous, Andy said, for 15 minutes.
I thought everyone was just kidding, said Andy.

Think rich, said Warhol, look poor.
I thought everyone was just kidding, said Andy.
Dying, Andy said, is the most embarrassing thing.

Think rich, said Andy Warhol, look poor.
I am a deeply superficial man, said Warhol.

Andy said, I'd like my tombstone to be blank.

Fashions fade, Warhol said, but style is eternal.
Andy said, I'd like my tombstone to be blank.
Isn't life, said Andy, a series of images that repeat?

Meditate. Live purely. Be quiet. Do your work with mastery. Like the moon, come out from behind the clouds! Shine.-Buddha

A friend told me she celebrates her birthday as the new year, the clean slate, the wide open world, clean, free of mistakes, of regret, of things done badly or not at all. So, too, will I. I am so contended these days. Free. Free of weighted chains. Freed with illuminating light, and blesses with the sacredness of one moment, one moment following the next, in darkness, and in light. Today, I can't believe it, the little child I once was is 34 years old. I've been told it's time to grow up. In all the best ways, I plan to do that. But, I will not wear a tie or a serious expression in the middle of July. I plan to stay young in all the best ways, too. I have 2 birthday celebrations planned, and already received a birthday massage from a dear friend. It's so unusual, and so delightfully strange, to finally, once again, just be happy to be alive.
